Dear Ones,

This is going to be hard to read, but I know and MM and all who love her know, we have heard yucky news before. In spite of and often because of this news, we know to accept and love one another; pray and cry; be present and be in these moments.

We have had some difficult news this past week. Mary Mallette's current chemo regime will need to be changed. She started her new therapy on Thursday in Winston. Robert took her for her check up and then she returned to Rock Hill to be with Kevin, George & Robert, her beloved men/boys at home...if, and that is a BIG IF, we can keep her away from the beach☀️❤️☀️

There are indications the AML is progressing again. With the news last December of either hospice or try the palliative chemo regime, we were devastated. MM went with the chemo treatment and Mary Mallette’s courage has prevailed this far. We are always shocked each time the AML wards off treatment options. But, she carries on and we will carry right on with her!

This new therapy is a different palliative chemo and should be well tolerated. There are other factors to face and we are doing exactly as MM tells us often, "EVERY DAY IS A DAY."

As we all know and recognize, Mary Mallette is brave, valiant and true.

Be Swift and Make Haste!

Love love love ❤️

Meg
